Yeah, I'm building my collection of instruments very slowly. I realize they are fine instruments though. If the Swam prices ever come down to Earth I might pick some up. I write/play primarily blues-rock/soul music and had a live horn section featured on a few tunes from my last EP, loved the sound and absolutely want to continue to incorporate horns on future projects, but was wondering about your opinions on virtual instruments/plugins for horns that I can arrange and play myself from my work space instead of calling in a full-blown live horn section every time I want to add some brass to a song? Any recommendations on good quality sounding virtual brass/horn plugins or options for being able to carry that out myself? Appreciate any pointers and direction you guys can offer! Hey all! I'm relatively new to home studio recording so bear with my rookie questions - A little background on my setup/situation, I'm a singer/songwriter/guitarist and I've done 5 studio albums over the last 8 years all in standard full-size studios, but decided earlier in 2018 to take a new route and my band and I have all built small home recording spaces in our homes to record EPs and albums ourselves from now on, with me being the one taking on mixing and mastering duties.
